This door was designed by architect, Robert Altevers for The Lakes in Palm Desert, California. It is a panel within a panel, constructed of quartersawn Japanese white oak, with a distressed, fruitwood and whitewash finish. The ropes are hand-carved on both sides of this 3-6 x 8-0 x 2 1/4" door.
