Stained and Leaded Glass

Created for the Heather residence in Pagosa Springs, Colorado, this entryway is 26 feet tall and 12 feet wide.  Every leaf of the life-sized aspen trees is individually copper-foiled.  Steel bracing helps to support the massive weight of the glass, which was then sandwiched between tempered sheets.  The aspen trees on the doors are sculpted from poplar.  The woodwork is of red oak.
