Contemporary Doors

A heartbreaking story, this entry was created for the Schwob residence of Durango, Colorado (Rick LeGrand, custom home builder).  Shortly after the home's completion, it was completely destroyed in a forest fire.  With the Schwob's strength and determination, and with the same builder, the home was completely reconstructed.  We duplicated the same entry (with minor variations) for the new home.  Cherry superstructure, with cocobolo, wormy maple, koa, and mahogany accents.  Natural finish.  Clear, tempered, insulated glass in the transom and sidelites.  International Door and Latch 7000 series hardware in oil rubbed bronze.  6'0" x 12'0" x 2 1/4".
