Woodcarving

While woodcarving is an emotional and artistic aspect of the woodworking profession, it comprises only a small (albeit important) portion of the finished product.  There are many woodcarved doors that are deficient in the balance of design or technical structure.  We begin a door or fireplace mantle with a structure that accepts the carving in harmony with the client's wishes and the space that is to be filled.  This is the first carving Doug ever did.   Click here for the finished product.
